Actually I would have sucked. I got my hand stepped on during the rugby match on Saturday and I can’t grip a barbell…
Workout at Crossfit Palo Alto.
Hang power cleans: 5-5-3-3:
95-135-135-45 (I really couldn’t grip the bar bell after the first two sets).
Wod:
Amrap 8 min:
8 box jumps, 24″
8 bar facing burpees
7+5
Probably the first wod I’ve done with box jumps that didn’t feel like absolute death. Maybe there’s something to this spring leaning! Ha!

You’re making me rethink my interest in rugby–and it’s not often I hesitate before doing something dumb, but not being able to WOD?!? I don’t know….

Yeah Hoff, I was thinking the same thing today…and yesterday. But rugby is awesome. Playing 80 minutes of a rugby match is the hardest Crossfit wod in the world!

My first time working out with Crossfit Monterey!
Worked up to a new PR of 325# (hit it for the last two sets). Was in the mid 200′s for the earlier sets.

185lb for 5, 3s, 2s, and two of the 1s. 195lb for my last two 1s (What I was lifting 2 months ago, the last time I deadlifted). I’m sore now!

squatted doubles with .90 sec rest then I did yesterday’s WOD. Pretty good for my first WOD using my upper body since Christmas RX’d–>5:30…..Josh still beat me. Darn you Josh

330# PR. That’s the first time I’ve even approached pre-back injury weight. Liked the progression. Form felt much better as well.

WOD: 4 rounds of: Push Press 135# til failure then row 250m

Well..I hit the pool today…for those of you who don’t know..I use to swim…alot..then I crossfitted..ed…alot..lol anyway, with my wrist issues I did
50 airsquats
500m swim
50 knuckle pushups
500m swim
25 knuckle burpees
500m swim
..30minish
…and yes…lots of people just looked at me like I was on crack, but, what else is new
lol
Oh and I did pick up rhiannons DL bar with my sorta good right arm..i think it was 185…one arm deadlifting is kinda fun
