Workout Of The Day 10/4/2012

WOD

Snatch 15×1 on :60. Start with 85% of your best lift. Add weight as able. Don’t be afraid to go big!

For time:
Run 800m
30 dumbbell push press
30 burpees

Go heavy on the dumbbells!

Post best lift for snatch and time for circuit to comments.

    115# Snatch (meh, form is holding me back).

    WOD = 8:10 w/50# DB’s.

    Finally made it in the gym!
    Snatch: worked up to 93#
    WOD: 6:58 with 35# dumbells
    Yay burpees!!!

    You snatched 93 at 6am? That’s like snatching your bodyweight at noon! It’s like dog years, which is a really bad analogy, but it means your awesome!

      Haha thanks Mandy! Yeah it’s kinda weird, like an out-of-body experience. I have workout-amnesia sometimes and when I’m done, I don’t really know what happened. It’s definitely not in the shoes šŸ˜‰ right Jacob??

    Oops, I missed the part about going up on the snatch weight. Did 80# straight across. Didn’t miss any.
    WOD: 8:59, 30#DB

      Way to go Jess! 80 across the board is pretty flippin kewl chica! Don’t worry…I need to relearn the snatch AGAIN..lol

      Bench 120lbs x3, then attempted 125 but couldn’t get the 2nd rep up.
      WOD:
      8 Rounds
      3 FS, 125 lbs.
      50′, 40′, 30′, 20′ suicide sprints
      6 Dips (blue band)
      Time: 13:25…F.U.N.

    Snatch: started with 155# did about 8 with 160# then for the last 5 worked up to 170# and missed 175# on the last rep!!!

    WOD: 7:13 (55# DB)
